I have watched wind closely for decades
now. Much of my experience seems second
hand. For instance, I look at Tibetan prayer flags and have read that their
prayers are taken by the wind. There is no felt effect until the wind takes the
words of the prayers off the cloth and off they go to be made manifest. I have
seen American flags, and even flags of organizations lose their color to the
wind. Does this mean that their mottos and emblems, their symbols
and sense of boundary and fortitude even, become manifest in the wind? As an
old woman, are my meditations also made manifest by the wind? Are all my
dreams, so many already forgotten or transformed, becoming realities? Are they
following another stream as well? When is it time to migrate? How do
you know that you must leave? Do you
follow your dreams? Or do dreams land on a nest in a warmer more
welcoming climate and wait for you to join them so that they may seep into your
bones and inform your feathers and wings?
