are a part of the fate of Wisdom.”
Without
invitation, the ocean comes into my dreams.
It is, after all, the ocean, and most of my world is water. In these dreams, I’m looking at the surf or
riding a long and large wave. I also have waking dreams when I stand at the
shore. I’d like to invite everyone to be a part of Wisdom’s fate; to know that
only a quarter of our waters are protected. And of that most are within
Hawaii’s sacred preserve. I hope to merge my waking and sleeping dreaming
times. If we can keep Wisdom’s island home protected, we can begin to protect
so many more waters.
