"If the winds mean me, I'm here, here." Theodore Roethke Meditations of an Old Woman

from bird dreams, riding hope   - mentored by Meditations of an Old Woman by the great Theodore Roethike

I have watched wind closely for decades now. But only recently learned that the prayers on Tibetan flags, popular for some in this country, are taken by the wind. There is no felt effect until the wind takes the words of the prayers off the cloth and off they go to be made manifest. I have seen American flags, and even flags of organizations lose their color to the wind.  Does this mean that their mottos and emblems, their symbols and sense of boundary and fortitude even, become manifest in the wind? As an old woman, are my meditations also made manifest by the wind? Are all my dreams, so many already forgotten or transformed, becoming realities?
